Pulp and Paper Technology Group Finland (PPT )

Pulp and Paper Technology Finland is a non-profit association which has been created to promote Finnish technology and innovation dedicated to the pulp- and paper industry. Association has a good reputation among industry and its activity covers practically all leading technology companies in Finland including those who are part of the foreign companies. PPT organizes different activities like the visits to Finland dedicated for managers and professionals. PPT has since started 2011 organized several customer visits with a great success and a lot of companies of different sizes have hosted the visits and presented their activities. PPT brings the media people from the main professional media houses to Finland as well.

Up to now PPT has materialized six visits concerning professionals from pulp- and paper industry. They have come from different European countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.

One visit has been organized for the professionals of mechanical wood industry from different Eastern European countries.

PPT uses local organizations in the market to find interested executives, managers and other professionals to participate on a week safari in Finland. The program has built the way that every company which will be visited has enough time to present their activity as well organize a factory tour. The visits in the technology providers will be added by a couple of visits in the running pulp- and paper mills. The visitors meet in every companies executives to get the most appropriate contacts and information.
